We believe that all children develop and grow through a variety of developmental experiences. Our Child Care Educators provide a nurturing and stimulating environment by encouraging and supporting children to learn through play, observation, sensory exploration, and hands on experiences. We believe that all children are unique and provide patients for them to learn at their own pace. We support all children by offering a wide variety of toys and loose parts, to extend interactive activities and focus to support and help meet their needs. We strive to build strong connections with our families by keeping them informed of the daily occurrences. At Sugar N Spice, we communicate daily with families either through verbal and/or written communications. We strive to help create a trust for the children we provide care for, as well as the families involved. In addition to spending time outdoors in our playgrounds, we also provide children with the opportunity to have adventures out into the community. This includes excursions to neighborhood parks, nature spaces, planned events with the senior homes, and experiences within the schools that we are attached to.
